Start Date: ASAP

Reed Education are currently supporting a primary school in North East Lincolnshire with recruiting a Year 5 teacher to teach each afternoons. The school is seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Teacher to join their team starting ASAP on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will work teach foundation subjects and will be required to do the marking for these lessons. Most planning will be completed prior by the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to a class of Year 5 children.
  • Assess students' progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the morning teacher to identify students requiring additional support.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and provide regular feedback to parents and staff.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with primary school students, particularly in KS2.
  • PGCE of equivalent
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • ECTs will be considered for this role.
