We are seeking a high-quality Year 1 Teacher for a long-term placement in a vibrant school that is part of a large multi-academy trust. This role requires excellent behaviour management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Year 1 students.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a constructive classroom environment.
- Assess and record students’ progress, preparing reports as needed.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and contribute to the school community.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching Year 1 or similar levels.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Ability to create and maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
