Control and Instrument Technician for a Chemicalsite in the Grimsby area.
This role will be hands on, someone who wants to step up into a more senior role, but also someone who may be looking to slow down and can install some calm and experience.

Minimum Requirements:
- Education: HND or HNC in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience within chemical manufacturing ideally at a COMAH site.
- Experience of plant control systems. Ideally awareness of IEC61511 .
- Knowledge and experience of ATE
- Responsible for providing support for all day to day operations and development projects around the Site instrumentation and control systems.
Purpose of the Job
- Provide the Control, software development and Instrumentation support to the Control Systems Engineer for the sites continuous improvement strategy and ongoing projects
Main Accountabilities:
- Ensure Compliance to all site Safety Health & Environment procedures within area of responsibility.
- Responsible for site control system projects including front end design, programming, commissioning and handover to operations
- Manage external project C & I resources ensuring relevant competency and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
- Day to day troubleshooting of issues related to Instrumentation and control systems.
- Deputy for Control Systems Engineer
- Continual communication link between C&I and Production Personnel on all C&I Aspects.
- Site support out of hours of issues related to Instrumentation and control systems.
