Job Title: Business Support Assistant

Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay: 12 per hour
Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and flexible Business Support Assistant to join our team in Grimsby. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in business administration and procurement, as no previous experience is required - full training will be provided!
Responsibilities:
- Communications: Collate, create, and distribute materials for our suppliers, utility framework customers, and Capital Framework Contractors.
- Administrative Support: Assist the procurement team with various tasks, including managing the YORtender e-procurement portal.
- Project Support: Provide support in the delivery of procurement projects.
- Supplier Engagement: Facilitate supplier engagement activities.
- Contract Management: Assist in the delivery of contract terminations.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required within this role.
Requirements:
- GCSE grade C in Maths and English or Functional Skills Level 2.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications and databases.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Adaptable, flexible, and open to new ways of working.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of local government procurement processes and relevant legislation would be advantageous.
