Reed Education are currently supporting a primary school in North East Lincolnshire with recruiting a Year 6 intervention teacher. The school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Intervention Teacher to join its team until the end of May 2025. The successful candidate will work closely with Year 6 students, providing targeted support to help them achieve their academic goals. This role involves working with small groups and individual students to address specific learning needs, particularly in literacy and numeracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality intervention sessions tailored to the needs of Year 6 students.
  • Assess students' progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify students requiring additional support.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and provide regular feedback to parents and staff.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with primary school students, particularly in Year 6.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum, especially in literacy and numeracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
