An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for North East Lincolnshire Council. This is a temporary Children's Social Worker role within the Child Assess and Safeguarding Service based at their new office in Grimsby Town centre.

In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment. The successful candidate will work in the office for a minimum of 2-3 days per week alongside an excellent team.
Working within the Child Assess and Safeguarding Service includes but is not limited to:

* Effective engagement and relationship management with vulnerable children, young people and families and other stakeholders.

* Experience of formulating, implementing and reviewing agreed care plans.

* Experience of working within a statutory Children's Services setting.

* Can demonstrate an awareness of the impact of their involvement as a child care professional.

* Experience of carrying out timely assessments of service users' needs, using practice guidance and departmental policies and procedures.

For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be SWE registered. Furthermore, you will have at least two years post qualifying experience in statutory child care setting in order to support your ability for this role.
