Jonathan Lee Recruitment is working with a client seeking a highly skilled Control Engineer. The role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.

The Control Engineer will be an authority in managing planned and fault operations and coordinating with collaborators to maintain security of supply whilst upholding the company's safety protocols.

In your first few weeks in this Control Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Take responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the networks at all levels
  • Approve and run switching programmes for planned work, ensuring continuity of supply and compliance with safety protocols
  • Carry out high-voltage switching operations
  • Coordinate fault operations on low and high-voltage networks, providing real-time decision-making and support, minimising the effect on customers
  • Authorise and record the issue of safety documents to ensure all works are carried out following procedures
