Accountant Guildford based Hybrid working Salary up to £45,000An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced accountant to join a growing accountancy practice in Guildford. Ideally, you will have recent experience managing a portfolio of varied clients, who you prepare year end accounts, management accounts, and the associated tax for. Role Responsibilities:
- Statutory accounts preparation for a diverse range of clients.
- Preparation of corporation tax and submission of CT600's to the HMRC
- Experience in completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
- Attend client meeting and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time and budget
Person Requirements:
- At least 2+ years' experience working in a UK based accountancy practice.
- ACA/ACCA studier who is ideally part qualified or above.
- Current knowledge of statutory accounting, corporation/personal tax and VAT
- Excellent communication skills and adept and developing and maintaining strong working relationships
