Job Title: Accountant

We are currently working with a small, family run, accountancy practice who are hiring an additional head into their small but friendly team.

Although small (approx 10 staff) they have a truly great culture and boast an impressive client base. This role has come about due to an impressive increase in workload and subsequently turnover. You'd benefit from good quality work, in a friendly work environment, and a competitive regional salary.

Requirements

Ideally you'll be ACA / ACCA qualified and working at another accountancy practice, conducting audits for clients. But applications will be considered from:

  • part-qualified candidates with audit experience
  • returning to work candidates with audit experience
  • senior candidates looking to 'wind' down, or take a step back

Audit experience is a must for this position, but it will be a mixed audit and accounts opportunity if you'd prefer. Experience conducting audits within the not-for-profit and construction sectors would be advantageous but not essential.

Benefits

This practice takes care of their employees. They boast an impressive staff retention and reward their staff where possible with bonuses and pay rises, along with an impressive training programme.

  • plus hybrid working (if needed)
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Christmas, and study days if required
