An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager/Associate Director to join a dynamic, forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Guildford.

Reporting directly to the Partners you will manage your own portfolio of corporate tax clients, dealing with advisory matters as well as compliance.

Key duties include:

  • Oversee a small portfolio of key corporate clients, including their compliance process
  • Supporting the Tax Partners to deliver tax advisory services to existing and new clients
  • Managing the corporate tax team , conduct appraisals, provide coaching of assignments to support the development of team skills and knowledge and continually improve the quality and delivery of work
  • Establish strong working relationships with your own portfolio of clients through assignments and regular contact, including attending client meetings

You will ideally hold a professional qualification such CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent and have a strong corporate tax or or mixed tax background, preferably within practice of at least 5 years. You will also have experience of managing your own mixed portfolio of corporate tax clients.

A good working knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and the CCH would also be an advantage.
