Description

  • Provide financial management expertise, analysis, and insight to support informed decision-making across the business area.
  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports to ensure key stakeholders have the information needed to drive performance.
  • Support and oversee the expense budgeting and planning process, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and projects, considering all financial implications and ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
  • Ensure all reporting and accounting activities meet required standards, maintaining accuracy and compliance with agreed timelines.
  • Influence business decisions by engaging with key stakeholders and providing financial guidance.

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a strong foundation in financial management.
  • Solid understanding of management accounting techniques and their practical application.
  • Proven ability to advise and support senior stakeholders with financial insights.
  • Experience working collaboratively with non-finance colleagues across the business.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including handling large data sets and automating complex numerical models.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture and understand business-wide impacts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to engage credibly at all levels, including senior management.
