Financial Controller
Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day from home)

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join the Senior Leadership Team, overseeing all financial aspects of this UK business within a larger international group. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and Leadership team to develop strategic financial plans, improve processes, and provide insightful data to drive performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic financial plans with the Leadership team.
- Provide financial advice, analysis, and reports.
- Ensure timely, accurate monthly and annual reports.
- Offer financial trends, forecasts, and insights.
- Collaborate on monthly reporting, process optimisation, and budgeting.
- Lead the annual budget process.
- Monitor cash flows and financial transactions.
- Oversee risk management.
- Attend Senior Leadership Team meetings.
- Improve finance-related processesÂ
- Represent finance in projects and transformation programmes.
- Ensure compliance and internal control activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified finance professional (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong financial and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage financial risk and control activities.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Minimum 5 years post-qualified experience
