Financial Controller

CMA Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering exclusively with this well established services company based in Guildford, Surrey to recruit for a Financial Controller

You will work closely with the Finance Director managing the day to day financial activities and overseeing a small team.  We are looking for an ambitious individual who is looking to progress their role within a small finance team.

What will the Financial Controller role involve?

• Preparation of Management Accounts.
• Coordinating the preparation of budget and financial forecasting and reporting any variances. 
• Preparing and publishing all monthly financial statements.
• VAT Return Preparation.
• Preparation of Project Cost Reports as requested.
• Assisting FD in the preparation of year end MI and supporting files in readiness for external Audit.
• Supplier Statement reconciliations each month.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a proven track record in similar finance roles ideally within an SME environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• A self starter with a strong eye for detail who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
