Your Role
- Developing claim methodologies and preparing R&D tax relief claims for HMRC.
- Leading discussions with clients' technical and finance teams to identify qualifying R&D activities and expenditure.
- Crafting clear and concise technical descriptions of projects for inclusion in reports.
- Spotting and pursuing business development opportunities with both new and existing clients.
- Keeping the engagement team and clients fully informed on progress and resolving any issues.
- Collaborating with colleagues in the local office and across the region to deliver excellence.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate who combines strong technical knowledge with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Our ideal candidate will have:
- In-depth expertise in R&D tax relief and innovation incentives.
- Proven experience in preparing and submitting R&D claims across multiple sectors.
- A clear and concise writing style, particularly for industry-specific challenges.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Experience in responding to HMRC enquiries.
