Assistant Accountant (6 Month FTC)

Join our team as a Finance Contractor for a 6-month period, with the possibility of extension. This role is crucial as it covers for a team member on long-term sick leave. With year-end approaching, your expertise will be vital in supporting our financial operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage staff costs, prepare financial reports, and handle invoicing.
- Utilise SAP for various financial operations, including managing tax codes.
- Leverage knowledge of the Ariba system to enhance financial processes (preferred but not essential).
- Support year-end financial activities to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role.
- Strong proficiency in SAP is essential.
- Familiarity with the Ariba system is advantageous.
- Experience in the technology or telecommunications sectors is beneficial.
- Candidates studying towards a finance qualification will be considered favourably, or newly qualified with the required experience f working within a finance department.
- Immediate availability is highly desirable to meet business needs.
