You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the office and client bank payments and receipts system, as well as ensuring compliance and accounting and reporting requirements

Sounds interesting?? ..what will my daily duties look like??...

Daily Duties:

  • Inputting client receipts/payments on the day of receipt in accordance with SAR.
  • Preparing payments using the online banking software, ready for authorisation.
  • Printing, posting, and banking cheques.
  • Assisting fee earners with queries concerning client ledgers.
  • Posting sales invoices.
  • Processing time write-offs.
  • Processing client to office transfers.
  • Performing time transfers and interest calculations.
  • Preparing client bank account reconciliations.

Skills/ Experience:

  • 1-2 year's experience working in an accounts department.
  • Demonstrable computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • A flexible approach to work tasks
  • Quick to learn and adapt.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Understanding of SAR rules.(Desirable)
