Overview:

We're searching for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to support our client's financial operations as they grow from strength to strength.

As a key part of the finance team, you'll play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's rapid expansion.

Sounds interesting??.. what will my daily duties look like??

Duties:

  • Managing and updating financial records and ledgers with precision
  • Handling high-volume reconciliations of bank accounts and transactions
  • Processing accounts payable and receivable efficiently
  • Reconciling sales channel marketplace accounts and resolving any discrepancies
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
  • Supporting the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payments

Skills/ Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant or in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency with accounting software like Xero, Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure
  • AAT qualification or relevant experience is highly desirable
  • AAT (or similar) qualifications would be beneficial, but relevant experience will also be considered.
