Our client is a successful distribution company selling across 4 continents that are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of accounting and supporting the smooth operation of financial functions within the company. The role will entail:???????• Processing supplier invoices and expenses• Handle both AP and AR functions, including follow-up on outstanding invoices• Bank Reconciliations• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, entering data into SAP software.• Assisting with month-end reports and balance sheets.• Provide support and documentation for audits• Handle various administrative tasks within the finance department to ensure efficiency.Previous experience as a Finance Assistant with knowledge of accounts payable, receivables and bank reconciliations with a desire to develop towards more month end management accounting. Familiarity with a CRM systems and Excel is essential. The role would be accompanied by study support either towards AAT or ACCA/CIMA. You will be very well organised, with a strong attention to detail and be able to multitask.
