The ideal candidate will have social media marketing or PR agency experience, with exceptional copywriting skills and will be responsible for crafting compelling, engaging, and on-brand content tailored for various clients. You will play a key role in developing copy for social media campaigns, to connect with audiences, and drive engagement through high-quality, shareable content

Key skills:

  • Proven Experience: 3 years’ of experience in content writing, ideally having written content for a variety of mediums (social media being one).
  • Exceptional Writing Skills: Ability to write clear, engaging, and error-free content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Social Media Expertise: In-depth understanding of major social platforms, their features, and best practices for engagement.
  • Creativity: A knack for crafting fresh, innovative content ideas that capture attention and tell a story.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new trends, technologies, and audience preferences.
  • Time Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Typical day-to-day activities could include:

  • Content Creation: Develop original, engaging copy for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others to ensure consistent posting and brand storytelling.
  • Content Plan Management: Create and maintain monthly content plans, which include relevant, timely content and can account for possible reactive, ad-hoc content (dependent on client needs).
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with other team members to align social content with clients’ brand voice, messaging, and marketing goals.
  • Platform-Specific Optimisation: Tailor content to suit the unique tone, style, and requirements of each social media platform, maximising engagement and visibility.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on current trends and platform algorithm changes to ensure content relevance and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our designers, videographers, and other team members to create multimedia content such as graphics, videos, and animations.
  • Community Engagement: Draft content for captions, posts, stories, and ads that drive conversations, shares, and interactions with the audience.
