A great opportunity has arisen for an expert in SEO to join a forward-thinking digital marketing agency who deliver award-winning work for international, and UK based clients.

The successful candidate will be a strategic, hands-on and enthusiastic SEO expert who understands the importance of integrated marketing, technical optimisation and can deliver results.

Working across multiple clients, the main focus will be to elevate the clients' visibility, shaping and executing SEO strategies that make a real impact.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Develop custom SEO strategies aligned to each client’s goals (local, regional, or global)
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and content audits
  • Set clear, measurable KPIs (e.g., 6-10% monthly organic traffic growth)
  • Run detailed audits covering site speed, crawlability, indexing, schema, and core web vitals
  • Work alongside developers or use tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and SEMrush to implement fixes
  • Optimise site structure, internal linking, and sitemaps
  • Optimise meta titles, descriptions, headers, image tags, URLs, and content layout
  • Ensure content aligns with search intent and SEO best practices
  • Identify content gaps and provide briefs to content writers
  • Set up and manage GA4 and Google Search Console
  • Track rankings, conversions, and traffic trends across clients
  • Support Account Managers with clear insights and technical context to relay to clients
  • Work closely with the wider team to align SEO with social, content, and paid media campaigns

Skills and experience required:

  • 3-5+ years of SEO experience in an agency or in-house setting
  • Strong technical audit experience using industry tools
  • Proven track record of driving organic traffic growth
  • Experience managing SEO for multiple clients simultaneously
  • Technical Tools: Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, GA4, Google Search Console
  • Content Optimisation: SurferSEO, Clearscope (or similar)
  • Reporting: Looker Studio or custom client-friendly dashboards
  • Clear communicator who can translate technical SEO into plain English
  • Excellent time/project management skills
  • Bonus: Copywriting skills, dev background, or experience in international SEO
