Duty Manager, required for a prestigious hotel in Guildford area. The hours of work for this role will be focussed mainly on Breakfast service, moving on to overseeing the conference / events department.
As Duty Manager, you will assist the Operations Manager with the smooth day to day running and supervision within the front of house to include food and beverage / conference & events service areas of this hotel generally working the early shift.
For the opportunity of Duty Manager, you will need to be highly motivated and confident enough in your own abilities to work in an environment where exceeding the expectations of customers is the minimum requirement.
AsDuty Manager, you will need to ensure front of house runs effectively at all times, ensuring attention to detail and exceptional customer service with subtle selling techniques.
All staff within the team will need to be kept up to date with the functions/business of the day, menus, and have comprehensive product knowledge to department standards – this will be your responsibility, as will driving and motivating the members of your team.
The Duty Manager role involves working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis and will be contracted to a Full-time contract up to 45 hours per week.
You will:
- Have experience in a similar customer service role with supervisory skills.
- Need to have excellent attention to detail and be ‘standards’ driven.
- You will be extremely well presented.
