We are looking for a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer who is as focused on the environmental impact of their work as our client is. If this is a strong factor in your next role, and you have at least 2 years of UK experience in building structures, join this dynamic team.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the healthcare, residential, commercial, and retail sectors, delivering innovative and sustainable structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and analysis of building structures using traditional materials (concrete, steel, timber, etc.).
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop structural designs that meet client requirements and relevant codes and standards.
- Attend client meetings, providing technical expertise and clear communication on project progress and challenges.
- Support in structural inspections and investigations to assess the condition of existing structures (knowledge of this area is an advantage).
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years' UK experience in a building structures team within an engineering consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of structural design across all traditional materials.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Tekla, Revit, or similar).
