Architectural Technician

Location: Guildford

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience) + training/development + benefits package

Due to programmes of expansion and upcoming projects works our client has had an exciting position open up for an experienced Architectural technician to join their design team in Guildford.

Working on projects within the commercial, residential and heritage sectors, our client is a boutique firm with over 40 years of experience within the industry and are now looking for an ambitious technician to join the team, to work alongside the technical director.

This is the perfect opportunity for an Architectural Technician with 1-2 years of experience within an architectural practice to continue their professional development, developing their technical expertise, and receive 1-1 mentorship.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of interesting projects for a variety of clients including the public sector and mixed use residential developers preparing building regulation submissions and tender & working drawing packages.

Requirements:

· Have a sound knowledge ofAutoCAD and Revit and an understanding of the design process

· 1-2 years of experience within a technical architectural role

· Coordination of external Architectural teams and 3rd party suppliers/designers

· Product and layout design

· Specification of works

· Regulatory compliance
