Responsibilities:
As the Bookkeeper/Semi-Senior, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting tasks. Your exciting responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Raising invoices and skillfully entering purchases onto client accounts to ensure smooth financial transactions.
- Conducting bank reconciliations with precision, ensuring accuracy in financial data.
- Preparing weekly payment run reports, managing outgoing payments effectively.
- Assisting with setting up payments for suppliers and processing payroll with diligence.
- Tackling general accounts administration duties, keeping the financial operations running smoothly.
- Updating and maintaining client details on databases, ensuring data integrity.
- Providing essential admin support to the accounting team, contributing to seamless operations.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, the ideal Bookkeeper/Semi-Senior should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or related financial roles, demonstrating strong numerical skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools to manage financial transactions.
- Excellent organizational abilities, allowing you to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to assist the team as needed.
- AAT qualification or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential.
