Our client offers over 70 specialized sustainability services and has over 20 years of experience delivering high level projects and consultancy. If you're eager to make a meaningful impact and be part of a team that values expertise, trust, and sustainability, we want to hear from you! We are seeking an Associate Consultant with CFD experience to join our growing Building Physics team. Help us shape a sustainable future!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality technical and strategic advice on a wide range of building physics services, including Bioclimate Design, Building Performance Optimization, CFD Modelling, Daylight, Sunlight & Overshadowing, Internal Daylight Modelling, Microclimate Analysis, Pedestrian Wind Comfort, Glint & Glare, Thermal Comfort & Overheating, TM54 Modelling, Visual Comfort & Reflection Studies.
  • Collaborate with design teams on innovative, high-profile projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for clients.
  • Contribute actively to the growth of the Building Physics team.
  • Manage key client accounts and develop long-term, constructive relationships.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry (e.g., surveying, sustainability consultancy, architecture, planning, construction, M&E).
  • Extensive experience in client-facing roles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper).
  • Familiarity with IES, Design Builder, and Radiance/Ladybug tools.
  • Experience in CFD modelling and simulation.
  • Knowledge of GLA planning requirements.
  • Proficiency in operational energy modelling (TM54, etc.).
  • Experience in overheating/daylight assessments and thermal bridging.
  • Expertise in IES Apache HVAC for detailed energy modelling.
