My client is a medium sized Independent Financial Advice firm based near Guildford (Surrey) who I have met and placed 7 members of staff with. They offer whole of market advice on Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, IHT, Trusts, Mortgages, and some Protections. They have been operating for 20 years and built a very good reputation locally and within London for offering the highest standards of financial advice.
The Advisers manage the affairs of working professionals, accumulators, business executives, retirees and HNW families with very substantial assets to be managed. The highest net worth cases have over £1m to invest. Business is busier than ever with 700+ clients in their current setup, and this is growing through referrals and recommendations. They have enough business and high-quality leads coming into their inboxes that they cannot convert due to how busy they are, so there is very substantial untapped business to be had. They have ambitions to expand the business and are looking to maintain it’s independence and they have no intention of joining a larger national firm.
A brand-new role is being created within the business for a forward thinking, dynamic and driven Financial Adviser who is either Chartered or on their way to Chartered with a background in an independent firm. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of advising experience and is looking to press forward and establish themselves as a very high-quality Adviser and potentially be a Director of the business in the much longer term. This role will suitable for an individual who is keen to generate new business, attend conferences, seminars, breakfast meetings and networking events. You will be given access to all the incoming enquiries and leads to manage and convert into new business whom have considerable assets to be managed which the fees would more than covers an Advisers’ salary with the potential to earn 6 figure take home pay. You will be mentored by the existing Directors with the view to sitting on the Investment Committee and Executive Committee and having a say in the day to day operation of the business, implementing any regulatory changes i.e. Consumer Duty and assist with future acquisition activity.
