Area to be covered: London & South East
Remuneration: £46,000 + £9,500 bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager Garage & Front Doors will involve:
Area Sales Manager position selling a comprehensive range of high quality manufactured range of garage and front doors for example: up & over doors, sliding doors, roller doors, front doors
All of your time will be spent selling into national merchants, regional merchants, independent merchants, buying groups, developers, specialist garage & door merchants and wholesalers such as: Elliots, Travis Perkins & Jewson
Inheriting a patch currently turning £3m-£4m
Dealing with order values ranging from around £1k - £60k
Majority of your time will be spent managing existing accounts, with the remaining portion spent generating new business relationships
Organising your own diary and visits in order to develop relationships with merchants
Liaising with internal support staff and marketing team to maximise sales within your territory
Will require on average 1 night away a week
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Garage & Front Doors with:
Must have field based sales within the construction industry
Will consider any building material / product background
Must have a track record of working for or selling to builders merchants whether it be; national merchants, independent merchants, specialist merchants and ideally specialist wholesalers
Would consider someone working in a merchant looking to step into field sales
Experience of developing long term relationships with clients
Track record of stability within your career
Genuine get up and go work ethic
Results orientated, hungry and enthusiastic
