Business Development Manager -40k Basic- OTE- 70k

Our client

We are currently working with a long standing client of ours to support with a brand new, exciting Business Development Manager opportunity which has become available due to amazing growth plans for next year. They are continuing to expand their client base across the South East so the role will require attending client meetings including a variety of field based sales activity. This role would suit an experience sales progression who is driven and self-motivated to grow with the business as they consistently exceed revenue targets in the comings months. They have a hugely supportive working culture and have excellent staff retention. You will have full training and support from day one with a detail plan on how you can progress with a development.

Job description

  • Conduct in-depth consultations with potential clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals. Present tailored solutions that align with their needs and objectives.
  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
  • Attend meetings to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our offerings.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers and network to establish your client base.
  • Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential areas of growth and innovation.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions. Provide regular updates and reports to management.

Key requirements

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding new business sales targets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a B2B Sales Role.
