Business Development Manager (Field based)

Location: Remote (travel to Head Office in Guildford every 1-2 months)

Salary: Basic salary (£25000 - £30000) + Commission (OTE £35000 - £50000)

My client is looking for a results driven, motivated and enthusiastic BDM to join their expanding team! You must be a confident and self-sufficient sales professional who thrives on winning new business.

This is a remote position where you will be responsible for…

  • Proactively building sales pipelines through lead generation
  • Scheduling and attending meetings
  • Building lasting relationships
  • Identifying growth opportunities
  • Targeting and engaging with professionals to unlock new business areas across industries such as: facilities management, energy & Renewables and property development
  • Promote and sell company brands

Previous experience within sales in any of the following industries would be of an advantage (Electrical Wholesale, Energy & Renewables, Property Development, WiFi and smart hardware, IT & Security) however my client is willing to hear from anyone with cold sales and/or field sales experience. They will also consider applicants who have the right personality, great communications skills and are looking to kick start their career within sales (salary structure will be adjusted to reflect a trainee position).

Must haves:

  • A full UK drivers’ licence
  • Excellent command of the English language both verbally & written
  • A personality that is: professionally persuasive, enthusiastic, hard-working, personable, accountable and immediately likable!
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
