They are looking for a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to join their Guildford office, playing a key role in the design and delivery of infrastructure schemes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who wants to take on more responsibility, work on technical design solutions, and contribute to a highly regarded consultancy known for its collaborative and forward-thinking approach.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the design of drainage, highways, and external works for development projects.
- Producing and reviewing designs using Civil 3D for modelling and Flow for drainage design (experience in these is highly desirable).
- Preparing technical reports, including Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Transport Statements.
- Managing projects, budgets, and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
- Engaging with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet planning and regulatory requirements.
What They're Looking For:
- Strong experience in development infrastructure design, ideally within a consultancy setting.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and Flow (or similar drainage design packages).
- Knowledge of SuDS, Section 278/38/104 agreements, and UK design standards.
- The ability to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and liaise confidently with clients.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with Chartered or near-Chartered status (ICE or CIWEM preferred).
