Business Development Representative

My client, a leading and innovative specialist mortgage lender, is seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Representative to drive growth and build relationships with mortgage brokers and key industry partners.

This role focuses on developing new business opportunities and fostering strong professional relationships through telephone and virtual channels. It’s ideal for a motivated individual with a deep understanding of the mortgage market, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s mortgage products to communicate their value effectively to brokers and partners.
  • Proactively develop and expand business relationships through consistent engagement via virtual and telephonic channels.
  • Work closely with internal teams to implement sales strategies, meet performance targets, and enhance the broker experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and provide valuable feedback to drive product enhancements.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with brokers, principals, and key stakeholders.

What you’ll have:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience within the mortgage industry.
  • Full UK driver’s licence.
  • CeMAP qualification (desirable).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in a sales or account management role, with demonstrable success in the mortgage market.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products and processes, supported by established broker relationships.
