A leading specialist infrastructure contractor is seeking a Commercial Manager (Civils) based in Surrey with a salary of up to £115k plus package and bonus.
The role involves working closely with directors to tender, secure, and lead major projects in the UK, valued between £5m and £150m.
Candidates should have strong pre and post contract experience, including tender reviews and contract negotiation, and be capable of building a commercial team.
Excellent client interfacing skills and knowledge of NEC contracts are essential, with a preference for degree-qualified or chartered candidates.
This position offers excellent long-term career prospects, potentially leading to a Commercial Director role.

Commercial Manager (Civils)

Salary: to £115k + package + bonus

Based: Surrey (GU1) / Hybrid

A leading specialist infrastructure contractor has an exciting role for a Commercial Manager to join the team and take up an important role within their major projects division:

The position will see you work closely with key directors in initially tendering, then securing and leading projects within the UK that can range in value from £5m 150m. You will build a commercial team and develop an environment focused around achieving success and growth. The contracts will be delivered under either a JV scenario, or individually. There are excellent long term career prospects within this role, that can move towards Commercial Director.

Experience Required:

Strong pre and post contract commercially
Able to take a lead role in areas like Tender Reviews, contract negotiation / agreement
Look to want to build a commercial team
Strong client interfacing skills
Excellent NEC experience and knowledge
Strong communicator
Ideally degree qualified / Chartered
