Our client is a well-established Automation Machinery manufacturer specialising in industrial safety engineering. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Business Development Manager who excels in industrial automation or machinery safety, with a proven track record of building and managing strong client relationships.

South East - Regional Business Development Manager Job Overview- Take a proactive approach to identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities, focusing on winning business from new or underdeveloped accounts.
- Drive growth by exceeding sales targets through strategic prospecting, outreach, and tailored solutions.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts while maintaining a strong emphasis on attracting new clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and account plans aimed at unlocking untapped potential in the market.
- Leverage your technical expertise to deliver compelling proposals and solutions that align with customer needs and priorities.
- Actively manage and expand a robust sales pipeline, overcoming objections and closing deals to achieve maximum profitability.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competition, continuously refining your approach to capture emerging opportunities.
- Participate in occasional travel to our European headquarters for training and development.
- 4-6 years' experience in industrial automation or machinery safety organisations.
- HNC/HND in engineering or a related technical field.
- Understanding of production processes and machinery safety solutions & services.
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
- Proven ability to generate new business by identifying opportunities and delivering tailored solutions, while strengthening relationships with existing clients to drive long-term growth.
- Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays, with early starts and late finishes as required.
- Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.

- Car Allowance: £6,600 annually or the option of a company vehicle.
