Brook Street is looking for confident Level 3 qualified trainer and assessor to become a first aid trainer for a permanent role in Guildford. Full training will be provided in these areas

The Role:

To deliver and assess a wide range of courses within the certain geographical region of Guildford e.g. First Aid at Work, Fire Marshal, Mental Health etc

Hours of Work:

Full-time role. This role is predominantly Monday to Friday, business hours however there may be the occasional evening or weekend work to meet our customers needs.

Salary: 24,188

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 GCSE's C or above including English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Level 3 in First Aid with assessing
  • Driving licence and own vehicle (mileage paid)
  • Confident and able to work on your own initiative
  • Enhanced DBS check will be required

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training courses and conduct assessments to a professional and consistent standard
  • Maintain own subject and professional competence in accordance with organisational and awarding body requirements
  • Ensure that all equipment used is fit for purpose, is cleaned and stored in accordance with procedures and any faults or damage are reported
  • Arrive in good time, prepare the training room, liaise with venue contacts and greet learners; and follow the relevant procedures at the training venue, including conducting dynamic risk assessments, and prompt collection and return of keys, materials and equipment where required
