Company Profile
A specialistmanufacturer of precision machined parts and components to the Aerospace & Defence sectors are expanding and looking for a CNC Grinder to join the team.

Job Profile
This position entails the selection and installation of cutting tools for both CNC and traditional grinding operations, as well as positioning and executing grinding tasks (both internal and external) on workpieces.

Duties:
  • Prepare machines for grinding operations.
  • Perform grinding, deburring, and polishing activities to achieve specified shapes and dimensions as per design requirements.
  • Mount and dismount workpieces on/from grinding machines.
  • Utilise measuring equipment for quality control inspections of finished pieces.
  • Report any machining or fabrication discrepancies.
  • Conduct maintenance on grinding machines and cutting tools.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area.
  • Assist colleagues with additional tasks as needed to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Operate in accordance with company quality systems and procedures.
  • Maintain punctuality.
  • Adhere to company health and safety regulations and complete necessary training.

Skills & Attributes:
  • Engineering or related field qualification.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar industry or role.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical/mechanical drawings.
  • Experience in systematic problem-solving.
  • Proactive team player.
  • Quick learner with adaptability to change.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.

Hours of Work:
40 hours/week
07:00 15:45,Monday to Thursday
06:00 13:00,Friday
