Project Manager - Clean Water Network sector

Working for a consultancy supporting the delivery of a change programme within a Utility provider. Focused on improving the water networks in the South East region.

Location: - South East England (Travel required to other sites in the region)

Hybrid working: - Home-based 2 days a week / 3 days a week in the client's office.

Salary: - £65,000 - £70,000 basic + Travel

Role Description

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a leading Consultancy within the utility sector. They are working on projects based across the UK on both a framework and individual basis with a number of key clients in the Water / Gas/Power sectors.

This role sits within the Water team, supporting the Programme lead in rolling out a change programme in a Water Networks team. Focusing on processes, systems, training, internal legislation and ensuring clear communication between all the stakeholders. There are various aspects to the programme but for example, you could be managing data and information covering:

  • Operational strategies regarding clean water optimisation
  • Network characteristics, Capacity, Pressure, Redundancy and Reliability, Flow Direction and Velocity, Leakage
  • Asset Condition, Maintenance and Age of Infrastructure, Physical Integrity, Operational Performance,

Hydraulic Performance

  • Leakage detection, Network-Wide Leakage Monitoring, Data Analysis and Leak Detection, Leak Prevention Strategies.

Your role is to report to the Programme lead, work with the client, and offer advice, guidance, and possible solutions to issues that arise with the new change programme. You don't need Water Network experience, as someone working in the Utilities sector and used to working on transformation programmes would be an ideal fit.

This role is working on a hybrid basis. It is based from home, working 2 days a week from home, and then working at the client's site as required up to 3 days a week.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Degree qualified - Open on the subject as your experience and cultural fit is more important.
  • Change Management or Transformation experience within the Utilities sector (Water, Gas, Power)

  • Process Redesign and Optimisation
  • Compliance and Governance
