Data & Development Lead

Guildford, Surrey - On-site 

Our client in the education sector is seeking to onboard a Data & Development Lead into their growing team. The right candidate will be responsible for the data compliance across the organisation, as well as looking at enhancing the data capabilities as the organisation looks to evolve. You'll be leading on the development of digital tools, platforms and infrastructure that serve the organisation, as well as leading on data best practices and development across the existing systems.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead development and delivery of MIS system, data portals and platforms inline with digital strategy
  • Lead on data strategy and data accuracy
  • Line manage data and development team (team of 3)
  • Improvement of processes on MIS system through best practice and development
  • Provide data guidance to SLT in the organisation
  • Lead on college data and reporting
  • Oversee project lifecycle across data 
  • Plan and resource development across websites, portals, reports and dashboard.

Experience required: 

  • Line management 
  • Experience with MIS systems (Ideally in an educational setting)
  • Data manipulation
  • Experience with SSRS or PowerBI
  • Data governance or data protection knowledge
  • Experience with Power Platform, M365, SQL or React (Front end development)
  • Experience working on software projects
  • Excellent analytical and IT skills

Qualifications: 

  • Degree or equivalent qualifications
  • Qualifications in leadership and management and/or project management (desirable

37 hour week (8am-4:30pm)
