A specialist, UK based Transport and Civil Engineering Consultancy is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join an established team of specialists based in Guildford.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Hydrology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing drainage design or modelling.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to support the existing team and complete Flood Risk, Surface Water and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Water Companies and Local Authorities.
Applicants will also be required to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies.
-Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD, Causeway and Microdrainage for residential and commercial projects for Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities.
-Drainage Area Planning.
-Flood Estimation.
-Managing Projects and checking technical work.
