The position available is for a 1:1 Tutor located in Guildford, Surrey, with an immediate start date and an ongoing temporary contract.
The role requires candidates to be available during school hours for up to 30 hours per week, with a pay rate ranging from £25 to £35 per hour.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience teaching core National Curriculum subjects and preferably hold QTS status or equivalent qualifications.
Experience working with young people with complex needs, including SEMH, ASC, and MLD, is essential, alongside strong behavior management skills.

We are looking for candidates who are:-

Available during school hours up to 30 hours per week.
Experienced in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects.
Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
Exceptional behaviour management strategies.
Prepared to work face to face within the community.

Requirements

Background teaching in English, Maths, Science or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5.
QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
Experience working with SEMH/ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.
2 years previous experience working within a UK school.
