DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced data cabling engineer in Guildford on behalf of a national structured cabling contractor.

Contract date: Wednesday 9th April 2025

Duration: ~1 week

Working up to 8 hour day shifts.

The scope of works will include installation of CAT6 structured cabling and network equipment, and can include but is not exclusive to moves/changes of existing APs/cabling/cab switches/CCTV, within a small industrial unit.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a valid ECS/Equivalent structured cabling/comms industry related card or CSCS
  • Hold a valid IPAF licence for categories 3a and 3b for working at heights
  • Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience
  • Be able to provide relevant work references and proof of right to work in the UK (ID) prior to start
  • Have their own PPE and hand tools including termination kit and drill(s)
