Your new role
As the Day Electrical Technician in the Estates Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for completing the inspection programme of planned, preventative maintenance for the control of testing and maintenance, installation and refurbishment of all electrical systems.Also, you will be responsible for completing reactive and emergency response maintenance activities for electrical system faults and failures.
For this role you will install and maintain all types of industrial, commercial and domestic systems as well as reactive maintenance tasks. PAT testing, fixed electrical testing and emergency lighting will also be required.
Hours of work are 36 hours per week, (8am 4.12pm) with a 1-hour lunch break, over a 5-day week (Monday to Friday).
What you'll need to succeed
City & Guilds in Electrical Install/Maintenance or equivalent.
Ideally 18th Edition qualified (if not training will be provided.)
Ideally at least two years practical experience in a similar commercial maintenance role.
Experience of working in a varied environment.
Good timekeeping and attention to detail.
Ideally hold a valid Driving Licence
