Role details:

We are working with a technology consultancy who provide software and hardware implementation services to UK government clients. Their principal areas of expertise are cyber security solutions, digital signal processing for radio communication systems and high-speed data processing.

They are looking for a high achieving graduate or junior engineer to work on variety of designs, ranging from low-power microcontroller designs to high-rate network processing solutions.

Their ideal candidate will:

  • Be self-motivating, capable of working independently;
  • Have a good (1st/2.1) first degree or a PhD in a numerate discipline;
  • Have a strong academic background typically including A*'s in A-level Maths and Physics;
  • Have strong verbal and written presentation skills;
  • Have knowledge of at least one of the following areas:
    • FPGA development in VHDL;
    • PCB design and layout;
    • Software development in embedded C/C++.
