My client based in Guildford are seeking an Events Administrator to join their team! You will be responsible for assisting with the administration, sales, ad-hoc office requirements and event preparations. You will be responsible for assisting with events and always ensuring the highest levels of service.

Duties

Assisting with daytime events, room set-up etc.

Managing the reception area, including welcoming customers and guests.

Managing company correspondence, including phone calls, emails, letters and packages.

Maintenance of our database, produce sales reports.

Look after all Event ordering as instructed by venue and all office supply requirements.

Managing inventory of office supplies, including stationery and multimedia equipment to ensure smooth office operation.

Looking after the social media and marketing support.

Assist with weekly bar stock checks if requested by the Manager.

Arrange orders and POs for bar stock if requested by the Manager.

Report any work required to be carried out within the building.

Support the Manager with the facilities management of the building.

Promote agreed marketing offers according to business requirements.

Input into the annual marketing plan.

Ensure all new contacts are entered into the marketing database correctly to grow the internal database.

Proactively seek out new business opportunities and follow up and telephone all new leads.

Invite new business opportunities to promotional/showcase events.

Skills and Experience

Minimum one year office experience

Sound commercial acumen and target driven

IT literate, with experience in house CRM systems

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Strong service orientation and customer focus

Enthusiastic and self motivated
