Overview:BDM Recruitment is actively searching for an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to join a leading estate agency in Guildford. This position is ideal for a skilled mortgage professional ready to provide mortgage and protection advice in a high-demand market, with properties valued up to £700k and an average value of £650k. The role is based in a bustling Guildford office, offering a lucrative opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Advisor with significant earnings potential and clear growth pathways.
Main Duties:
This role is an exceptional opportunity for a fully CeMAP qualified Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to make a tangible impact. Working within the Guildford office, you will collaborate with an established team of introducers and financial services-focused colleagues to generate and manage new and existing client relationships.
As the Mortgage Broker in the Guildford branch, you will be responsible for contacting clients to review their current mortgage and protection policies while handling fresh, high-quality leads daily. You’ll have access to a rich database of existing clients and an extensive range of mortgage products and competitive protection policies, enhancing the depth and breadth of services you can offer.
With average case sizes of £2,500 and properties up to £700k, this role offers excellent earnings potential. Additionally, the Guildford office handles over 90 property sales per month, providing ample opportunities to achieve and exceed targets.
Key Skills:
As the sole Mortgage Broker within the Guildford office, a deep understanding of mortgage products and services is essential. Candidates must be CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified and should ideally have CAS status. Applications are welcomed from individuals with experience in tied, independent, or banking mortgage environments, provided they have a strong record in mortgage sales and hold relevant qualifications, such as CeMAP, CF6, or MAQ.
