Sonic Summary

Clarity is recruiting for a Finance Manager position near Guildford, with a salary of £50,000 to £60,000 per year.
The role requires experience in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) with overall accounts responsibility.
Candidates should have management experience, including coaching and training an assistant, and familiarity with Pegasus Opera is preferred.
Key responsibilities include payroll, month-end and year-end reconciliations, VAT returns, management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
The position offers a hybrid work model after a qualifying period and is open to part-qualified (PQ) and qualified by experience (QBE) applicants.

Clarity are working with an exciting new client to recruit for a Finance Manager near Guildford.

This role is at the heart of a thriving business and the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a SME with overall accounts responsibility, along with management, coaching and training of an assistant.

About You:

You will ideally have experience of Pegasus Opera and be keen to streamline practices and implement new accounting techniques / systems.

You will be responsible for:

Payroll

Month End / Year End

Reconciliations

VAT Returns

Management Accounts

Budgets, Forecasts and Cash flow reports

This is a key role reporting into the MD, working closely across all departments and outstanding clear communication is a must. You will be driven and highly motivated to achieve results.

We will consider PQ and QBE for this role.
