An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. This role offers the chance to drive financial strategy and operational efficiency across multiple business units whilst managing a small team.
What will the Financial Accounting Manager role involve?
- Leadership of Accounting team with direct line management of two members of staff (Assistant Accountant and Accounts Payable Team Leader)
- Management of the following key financial processes to ensure effective business control & quality
- Annual Statutory Accounts audit
- Act as the focal point for accounting with regards to new ERP system roll out.
- Review and improve processes to meet recognised accounting standards and to optimise financial control.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accounting Manager vacancy:
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a proven track record in financial leadership.
- Proactive and able to take initiative to address issues & implement improvements across the business.
- Excellent people management skills, able to motivate individuals and lead the team.
- Extensive experience of ERP systems. Experience with system implementations would be desired but not essential.
