Associate Building Physics Consultant

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading sustainability consultancy who have taken on numerous exciting projects within the construction industry. They are looking for an Associate Building Physics Engineer to help lead their Building Physics team in their Guildford offices.

Key responsibilities for an Associate Building Physics Consultant include:

  • Provide highly technical advice on building physics services such as building performance, overheating, TM54 modelling, and daylight calculations
  • Work alongside the design team on various innovative and high-profile projects
  • Produce sustainability and energy reports for clients
  • Manage client accounts and develop long term client relationships

The ideal Associate Building Physics Consultant will have:

  • Relevant degree within an environmental science, energy, or engineering discipline.
  • Strong experience as a Building Physics Engineer within the built environment
  • Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling
  • Successful history of leading on numerous construction projects and mentoring junior team members
  • Having a Low Carbon Energy Assessor CIBSE accreditation would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
