As a Scrub Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

Playing the circulation role and promoting a patient-centred approach in partnership with healthcare experts.
Completing scrub duties in line with policies and procedures, enhancing quality control, and promoting evidence-based practice.
Performing all tasks professionally and competently, including mandatory surgical examinations before, during, and prior to wound closure.
Organising, controlling, preparing, and managing the use of surgical instruments and medications for various surgical procedures.

To be successful in the Scrub Practitioner role, you will need:

To be a Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration or an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with a valid HCPC pin.
Proven track record of working within an operation theatre with relevant scrub procedures.
General scrub and circulating skills across a varied range of patient cases.
