We are seeking an ambitious and aspirational Head of PE to join our vibrant school community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports and physical education, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach to support the continued improvement of the department. This role offers the opportunity to lead a knowledgeable PE department that is driven by a passion for sports and the benefits of physical activity for all students.

Day to Day of the Role:

Provide high-quality, strategic leadership and management for the PE department.
Articulate and implement a strategic vision for the department, ensuring the highest standards are set and met.
Monitor, evaluate, and improve the attainment and progress of all students within the PE department.
Formulate policies and practices that develop learning and quality first teaching to support and sustain improvements.
Lead and manage a highly motivated staff team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Teach outstanding PE lessons across the age range, inspiring students to achieve their maximum potential.
Expand the curriculum and extra-curricular offer to include a wider variety of sports and activities.
