Position: Senior Paraplanner
Location: Guildford, Surrey (3 days per week working from home)
Minimum Requirements: Level 4 qualified; 3 years' paraplanning experience; Intelligent Office experience; Live near to Guildford
Salary/package: Up to £50,000 (depending on experience) + annual bonus + 25 days' annual leave (rising to 28) + pension (5%, 5%) + study support + Income Protection + DIS + free parking
YOUR NEW COMPANY:
Our client is a well-established, award-winning IFA firm based in Guildford, Surrey. The company has significant plans to grow over the next 3-6 months and has just began its search for an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join its rapidly-expanding Administration team. The Senior Paraplanner position allows for hybrid working, with the successful candidate working from home 3 days per week.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the firm’s Head of Paraplanning, the Senior Paraplanners’ key duties will include:
- Conducting regular strategy meetings with the Financial Planners and undertaking product and provider research to identify appropriate and compliant solutions for clients within specified timescales.
- Efficiently summarise recommendation options for the Financial Planners and draft letters and suitability reports for a wide range of products, providers and funds.
- To think independently and to work outside of formal template structures to help formulate highly individualised client reports.
- Update client records and business trackers promptly and accurately.
- Support the team and managers in the development of processes and ideas.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates interested in the Senior Paraplanner vacancy will have the following criteria:
- Level 4 qualified (or better)
- Possess at least 3 years' paraplanning experience (holistic preferred)
- Intelligent Office experience ideal
- Experience of EIS/VCT/Structured Products
- Experience with Pension Switches and Trusts a bonus
- Live a commutable distance from Guildford
REMUNERATION / PACKAGE:
The package for the Senior Paraplanner role is as follows:
- Up to £50,000 salary (depending on experience)
